August 29, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials announce that in a few weeks, they will welcome local author Kimberly Vaughan for a Q&A event about her new book. "Miranda & Yose: Guardians of the Grove" was recently published and was featured in a StoryTime at the library. The kids loved it! It's a great book about taking care of our planet.

To learn more about the book and to hear from Vaughan, come to our event on Wednesday, September 24 at 5:30 P.M. The Mariposa branch library is located at 4978 10th Street. The event is free, and no registration is required.

Vaughan will also have copies of her book at the event.
