Lane Closures on State Route 120 for September 7-13, 2025 

September 6, 2025 – TUOLUMNE COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) on September 7-13. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 120

  • Long-term, full closure of the vista points on either side of the James E. Roberts Memorial Bridge overlooking Don Pedro Reservoir for construction work through late-September of 2025.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between Scofield Street in Big Oak Flat and Deer Flat Road in Groveland for utility work beginning Sunday, September 7, through Friday, September 12, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, equipment/materials availability, and construction-related issues.
