Homicide Investigation - South Union Ave. 

September 13, 2025 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Friday, September 12, 2025, at approximately 4:20 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a subject down on the shoulder of the road in the 2500 block of South Union Avenue.

Deputies arrived and located a deceased adult male with visible signs of trauma. Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. At this time, no additional details are available for release.
