Reckless Motorcyclist Arrested 

September 15, 2025 – Clovis Police Department officials report that on September 5, a motorcyclist on a green Kawasaki fled from CHP and Clovis PD multiple times at speeds over 130 MPH on SR-168 and city streets—putting countless lives at risk.

Both agencies terminated their pursuits for public safety, but thanks to teamwork between CHP - Fresno, Clovis Police Department, and the Clovis PD Real-Time Information Center, the rider was later identified as 26-year-old Chaise Stonacek of Fresno. Stonacek was arrested on September 14, 2025.

Charges:

• 2 felony counts of evading
• Violation of probation
• Driving on a suspended license

The motorcycle was impounded, and the suspect is now booked into the Fresno County Jail.
