Coroner’s Office Seeks Help Finding Family of Fresno Woman 

September 19, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Coroner’s Office needs the public’s help locating relatives of 97-year-old Carmen Perez. She passed away in a Fresno nursing home on August 11, 2025.

Staff at the Coroner’s Office have searched through numerous personal records, but their attempts to find her relatives have been unsuccessful. Locating immediate family members is a necessary process in order for the Coroner’s Unit to release the body and allow the person to have a proper burial.
