September 24, 2025 – Happy Burger Diner generously hosted a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser on Saturday, September 20th. The organizer of this event was Mariposa County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Truitt.
The fundraiser was held at Happy Burger Diner in Mariposa from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday. Deputy Truitt and members of the Mariposa Miners Special Olympics team served guests, chatted with the customers, and cleaned up the tables.
All tips donated during this time by Mariposa's generous community were given to the team. Happy Burger Diner added a percentage of the proceeds to the tips. This money helps pay for expenses that keeps the team active. It was a fun evening for all.
