Skid Steer Recovered & Arrest Made 

September 27, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff's Office officials report that on September 23rd, Deputy Cabrera took a report of a stolen skid steer worth $130,000 from Road 620 in Ahwahnee.

Through focused investigative work, our Madera Special Enforcement Team (MADSET) identified the suspect as 57-year-old Clovis resident Michael Chujun Wu.

Deputies obtained and served both an arrest and a search warrant at Wu’s residence.

The stolen equipment was recovered and returned to its rightful owner. Mr. Wu was arrested without incident.
