October 19, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce that next week is National Health Education Week. Throughout the week of October 20-24, 2025, we’ll be answering the question “What do Health Educators do?”

Health Educators work in public health departments, schools (from Elementary to University-level), hospitals and clinics, nonprofit organizations and community centers.

We want you to learn about the health educators working within the Public Health branch of the Mariposa County Health & Human Services Agency. “Don’t smoke. Eat your vegetables. Brush your teeth. Move your body.” While that’s all excellent advice, your Mariposa County health educators are engaged in a lot more than you think!

So next week, celebrate National Health Education Week with us by learning more about what they do for Mariposa County.
