October 30, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that a traffic stop for expired registration leads to arrest of two for multiple drug and felony charges.

Thanks to Sky 1, officers were able to monitor the suspects safely from above, avoiding a pursuit and helping coordinate a quick, controlled arrest.

Both 40-year-old Jacob Mallory and 36-year-old Miranda Appleby were taken into custody for drug possession for sale, evading police, burglary, and unlawful use of a scanner.

Our appreciation goes out to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Team for their teamwork and support in bringing this case to a safe end.
