Suspicious Death Victim Identified 

October 30, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that a man recently found deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Daniel Leon of Caruthers.

At 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23rd, dispatchers received a call from the area of Oak and Tahoe Avenues in Caruthers.  A citizen reported finding an injured man on the ground.

Deputies and EMS personnel arrived to provide medical aid.  Daniel Leon ultimately died at the scene.  The nature of his injuries is not being disclosed.  Detectives are investigating this death as suspicious.
