Wanted Parolee Gets Another Felony Charge 

November 14, 2025 – Sonora Police Department officials report that on Wednesday, November 12, just after 12:00 p.m., the Sonora PD arrestSonora Police Department was dispatched to Yaney Avenue for a male causing a disturbance. The individual was identified as 35-year-old Nathan Poe. Poe was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance and had an active parole warrant.

Officers contacted Poe at his residence and attempted to take Poe into custody for his warrant. Poe was immediately uncooperative and refused to follow the officer’s commands. After a brief struggle, Poe was taken into custody and medically cleared before being booked.

Poe was booked in the Tuolumne County Jail for a Felony Parole warrant and a Felony Aggravated Obstruction of a Peace Officer.
