November 18, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce that the County Veterans Service Representatives are trained and accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs — and they’re here to help you. While not federal employees, they’re dedicated county staff ready to guide you through claims and connect you with the maximum benefits you’ve earned.

We work with organizations like:

AMVETS • American Legion • DAV • VFW • CalVet • Purple Heart • PVA — and more.

We can assist with:

• Disability & pension claims
• Education & college fee waivers (2025–2026)
• VA medical care & insurance
