November 20, 2025 – Merced Police Department officials report that they are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault. On August 6, around 4:15 P.M., the suspect randomly approached a victim outside Cardenas and physically assaulted him, causing serious injuries. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
