January 1, 2026 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announced wood distribution program ends on January 1, 2026.

We are sad to share that our Senior Wood program will be ending as of Thursday, January 1, 2026.

As recently announced the CalFire work camp will be closed and will no longer be able to provide support to the Senior Wood Program.

We are extremely grateful to CalFire and the work camp for their support and partnership over the years.

Our teams are working to establish other support programs and will continue to update participants and the community as information becomes available.
