January 2, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on December 31, 2025, around 4:00 p.m., Detectives conducted a targeted New Year’s Eve Gang Suppression Detail throughout both the North and South County areas of Tulare County. The operation resulted in the recovery of multiple firearms and the arrest of numerous individuals involved in criminal activity.

Throughout the enforcement detail, detectives made a total of 12 arrests, including individuals with active warrants, as well as suspects involved in negligent discharge of a firearm, possession of stolen firearms, and possession of unregistered firearms.

Detectives recovered eight firearms, including seven handguns—one confirmed to be stolen—and one assault-style rifle. High-capacity magazines and assorted ammunition were also seized as part of the operation.

During the course of the detail, detectives also located a vehicle determined to be connected to an ongoing homicide investigation. The discovery provides valuable leads for continued investigative efforts.

All individuals arrested were safely booked into either the Pretrial Detention Facility or the South County Detention Facility without incident.
