January 7, 2026 – Sierra Tel serves both Eastern Madera County and Mariposa County and happily announces that its 2026 telephone directory showcases the Fresno Flats Historic Village and Park located in Oakhurst. 

The Park and Museum uniquely recapture life in California’s “wild west” in the late 1800s, which includes several pioneer homes, two one-room schoolhouses, two jails, a blacksmith shop, a print shop, gift shop, wagon display, and a portion of the historic lumber flume. Bring the family to experience this slice of western life in the 1800s! Visiting hours are dawn to dusk, and you may visit https://fresnoflats.org for more information. In addition, the museum has multiple volunteer opportunities, and interested parties are encouraged to contact Dottie Farnandez at (805) 657-7221.

The directory includes business and residential phone numbers for Oakhurst, Ahwahnee, Bass Lake, Fish Camp, Yosemite, Coarsegold, Raymond, North Fork, Mariposa, Catheys Valley, Coulterville, Hornitos, Mt. Bullion and Midpines.

Also included in the directory is useful information about government representatives, emergency preparedness, emergency numbers, senior services, Sierra Tel services, schools, community information and a local calendar of events.

Delivery of the over 15,000 copies of the directory should begin being distributed through the US Postal Service the first or second week of January. In Mid-February, copies will be available at Sierra Tel offices.
