January 16, 2026 – Madera CHP officials report that on January 12, 2026, just after 3:00 p.m., CHP Madera officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on SR-152, at Road 9. A white RAM 2500 collided with the trailers of a Peterbilt, as the Peterbilt attempted to cross the westbound lanes of SR-152. Thanks to wearing his seatbelt, the 66-year-old man driving the RAM sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

A violent crash doesn’t have to be fatal. A seatbelt saved this driver’s life. Make the choice that matters, always buckle-up.
