January 26, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce upcoming Yosemite ranger Shelton Johnson presentation on Monday, February 23, 2026.

We are honored to have Yosemite ranger Shelton Johnson join us in February for a special event. On Monday, February 23, Shelton will present The Story of the Buffalo Soldiers in the Sierra Nevada.

It will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Mariposa County Government Center Board Hearing Room.

Registration is required. This event is free to attend. Call 209-966-2140 or stop by the library at 4978 10th Street to sign up.
