January 29, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 46-year-old Michael Bulaich of Sanger (pictured below on the left, top & bottom).

He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of murder, probation violation and being a repeat serious felony offender.  He is not currently eligible for bail.

In early January 2026, the Sheriff’s Office received a missing person report for 34-year-old Garth Dustin Moore (pictured below on the right).  Detectives began an investigation and generated leads.

On January 21, detectives served a search warrant at a property located near Highway 180 and S. Leonard Avenue in Sanger.  Based on evidence and information collected, detectives contacted and arrested Michael Bulaich for the murder of Moore.  Further details are not available at this time as this remains an ongoing investigation.
