February 19, 2026 – Merced County Sheriff's Office officials report that the Coroner’s Bureau needs the public's help locating the family of 72-year-old Bruce Wayne Collier. The Coroner's office has searched numerous personal records, but the attempts to find his family have been unsuccessful.

It is believed that Collier may have a sister in Florida; however, the identity of that sister is unknown. It is crucial to locate the immediate family members so the Coroner's Office can release the body and allow him to have a proper burial.
