Hey All You Budding Youth Filmmakers! 

March 12, 2026 – Upper Merced River Watershed Council officials announce Students on the River film contest deadline is Sunday, March 15, 2026.

The deadline for our STUDENTS ON THE RIVER film contest is fast approaching. Take advantage of these beautiful spring-like days to show us what you love about being outdoors!

We're giving away $1,000 to Mariposa County youth filmmakers whose 3-minute films are selected for our Merced River Fest event, which takes place Saturday, April 18 at the Grove House.
