March 31, 2026 – Merced County Sheriff's Office officials report that the Coroner’s Bureau needs the public's help locating the family of 38-year-old Nicholas Swaim.

The Coroner's office has searched numerous personal records, but the attempts to find his family have been unsuccessful.

It is crucial to locate the immediate family members so the Coroner's Office can release the body and allow him to have a proper burial.
