April 17, 2026 – Sonora Police Department officials report that on April 15, 2026, at 10:18 p.m., officers Sonora PD arrest drug chargeswith the Sonora Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation on Washington Street near Gold Street. Upon contact, the driver was identified as 46-year-old Issac Bisset. Bisset had a felony warrant and was placed under arrest. Bisset possessed a pipe and a clear, plastic bag containing 0.66 grams of methamphetamine. A records check showed Bisset had 2 or more prior convictions for possession of a controlled substance.

Bisset was booked at the Tuolumne County Jail for his felony warrant, felony possession of a controlled substance with 2 or more priors, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
