Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Bust
May 30, 2026 – Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 27, 2026, just after midnight, a patrol deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Ninth Street in Jamestown. The deputy contacted the sole occupant and driver, 42-year-old Jared Benjerman Fuson.
A record check of Fuson revealed him to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS). Based on these terms, Fuson and his vehicle were searched. Approximately 91 grams of methamphetamine was found during the search.
The Tuolumne Narcotics Team (TNT) were called to the scene and assisted with the investigation. A search warrant was authored and executed at Fuson’s trailer were more methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located.
Fuson was arrested and transported to the Dambacher Detention Center (DDC) where he was booked on the following charges:
11378 H&S - Possession of a controlled substance for sale
11379 H&S - Transportation of methamphetamine for sale
11395(B)(1) H&S - Possession of a controlled substance with 2 or more prior convictions
11364 H&S - Possession of drug paraphernalia
3455 (a) PC - PRCS Violation
