Victim of DUI Hit-and-Run Collision Passes Away 

June 16, 2026 – Clovis Police Department officials report that they are sad to announce that the victim of the CPD DUI deathhit-and-run collision that occurred last Thursday, June 11, 2026, passed away at the hospital on Sunday. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 41-year-old Johnny Raygoza of Fresno.

Currently, there are no further updates in this case. Our Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continues to investigate the circumstances of this DUI-related felony hit-and-run collision. As you may recall, 45-year-old Francis Portillo of Clovis was arrested Thursday evening, and is facing charges including felony DUI, felony hit and run, evading officers, and possession of a controlled substance. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Clovis Police Department. This is the second fatal traffic collision in Clovis this year.
