Arrest Made in Child Sexual Abuse Investigation 

July 4, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff's Office have arrested 23-year-old Gavin Boswell of Tulare following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving juvenile victims.

The investigation determined Boswell engaged in unlawful sexual acts with a child under the age of 14. During the investigation, a second juvenile victim, also under the age of 14, came forward and reported similar abuse.

Boswell was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on 10 felony counts of Penal Code 288(a) – Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a Child Under the Age of 14.

This investigation remains ongoing. Detectives believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not yet come forward.
