July 7, 2026 - On Monday, Sierra National Forest officials announced the following:

Paving on Black Rock Road (11S12) continues the week of July 5. The section from the Bailey Bridge on the Kings River to Balch Camp will experience temporary closures between 7 AM and NOON and 1–5 PM, with a brief open period from NOON–1 PM. Emergency vehicles will be allowed access as necessary.

Public safety remains our highest priority. SNF road crews continue working to minimize overall impacts on residents and forest visitors during construction.

Please drive carefully, watch for road crews, follow posted signage, and expect delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important roadwork.
