Cemetery Sale Turns into Armed Robbery in Tipton
July 12, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just after 2:00 p.m. on July 11, 2026, TCSO
Deputies were called to the Tipton/Pixley Cemetery in the 13000 Block of Avenue 104 in Tipton for an armed robbery.
When they arrived, Deputies learned the victim had met up with the suspects at the cemetery to sell items. Instead, the suspects pulled out a gun and robbed him, taking clothing, a purse and sandals.
Not long after, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office’s “Tribute 1” plane was able to track down the suspects’ vehicle in Corcoran, and Deputies arrested a 16-year-old boy and 22-year-old Francisco Guerrero. Deputies also tracked down the gun believed to be used in robbery.
