August 24, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce the libraries Football Club will resume this fall, beginning on Monday, September 14, 2026. Stop by the Mariposa Library to discuss that week’s football action. The discussion will be led by former MCHS athletic director and sports enthusiast Trace DeSandres.

It's that special time of year. We can almost hear the familiar sounds of the various intro theme songs for a National Football League broadcast. We can smell the savory aroma of chicken wings being made on gameday. In just a few short weeks, the season will begin.

The library will once again offer its Football Club this fall, starting on Monday, September 14. The group will meet at 3:00 p.m. each Monday throughout the season. Stop by to talk about the latest action, share your opinions, and make predictions.
