August 27, 2026 – Merced Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a theft that occurred at The Home Depot in Merced.

On June 10, 2026, the male suspect pictured above entered the store, collected spray foam cans and a welding kit, and is then seen leaving the store without paying. The merchandise is valued at over $1,500.

Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information regarding his identity or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Merced Police Department at (209) 385-6998.
