Multiple Arrests in Stanislaus County

September 27, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they would like to take a moment to recognize the hard work and dedication of our deputies and detectives. This past week alone highlighted just a few examples of the work being done throughout our department every day.

In Keyes, deputies executed a search warrant after a large outdoor marijuana grow was discovered. During the operation two adult males were arrested and booked on multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and resisting an officer.

In a separate investigation, detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Task Force arrested an adult male after he attempted to meet with a 15-year-old. He was booked on several charges related to contacting and arranging to meet with a minor for the purpose of committing a sexual offense, distributing harmful material to a minor, attempted lewd acts with a minor and attempted child endangerment.

Meanwhile, detectives with our Major Crimes Unit traveled to Oakland, where they arrested 27-year-old Dmarae White in connection with a homicide that occurred in June of this year.

Detectives with our General Crimes Unit also arrested 20-year-old James Mendoza of Modesto, who is suspected of being involved in several home invasion robberies.

These cases represent only a small portion of the work our personnel do every day, often through long hours, extensive follow-up, teamwork, and persistence.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication our deputies and detectives continue to show. Whether responding to calls for service, conducting complex investigations, locating wanted suspect, or working behind the scenes to build cases, their commitment remains the same: protecting the people we serve and holding those who victimize our community accountable.

To our deputies, detectives, and everyone who supports these investigations: thank you for the work you do each day to keep Stanislaus County Safe.
