Two-Year-Old Accidentally Shot in Pixley 

September 29, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just before 11:30 a.m. on September 28, 2026, TCSO Deputies were called to the 13000 Block of Avenue 112 in Pixley for a medical aid call involving a two-year-old who had been shot.

When Deputies arrived on scene, they found the two-year-old boy had been accidentally shot in the leg while someone inside the house was cleaning a gun.

Deputies rendered medical aid to the baby until EMS arrived on scene and took him to a local hospital.

TCSO Detectives arrived on scene and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Tulare County Sheriff's Office at 559-733-6218.
