Planned Lane Closures, Along State Route 99, in Madera 

October 3, 2026 – Caltrans will be conducting drain inspections along portions of Southbound State Route 99, in Madera, on Monday, October 5^th and Tuesday, October 6^th.

The following will occur Monday, October 5^th, on Southbound State Route 99, (weather permitting), from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.:

• The #1 lane from Madera Avenue to the Fresno River will be closed.

The following will occur Tuesday, October 6^th, on Southbound State Route 99, (weather permitting), from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.:

• The #1 lane from 4^th Street to South Gateway Drive will be closed.

Closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to

“Slow for the Cone Zone.”
