October 15, 2026 - Washington, D.C. — On Wednesday, Rep. Robert Garcia, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, reiterated he will continue his investigation demanding answers from Kimberly Guilfoyle, former United States Ambassador to Greece who resigned in disgrace. Guilfoyle’s resignation followed alarming allegations that, while in office, Guilfoyle engaged in a pay-to-play scheme with a Republican donor, demanding $100,000 in exchange for access to senior Trump Administration officials at the White House.

“Kimberly Guilfoyle is a fraud, and if she thinks she’s escaping accountability just because she resigned, she’s sorely mistaken. Our investigation is just getting started,” said Ranking Member Robert Garcia.
In the letter to former Ambassador Guilfoyle, Ranking Member Robert Garcia wrote, “Although your tenure as the United States Ambassador to Greece is coming to an end, Oversight Democrats’ inquiry will continue… Notwithstanding your announced resignation as ambassador yesterday morning, our requests for detailed information about your financial records, personal communications, and your communications with senior Administration officials on behalf of your benefactors still stand.”
