October 24, 2026 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce the upcoming Mature Driver Improvement Class offered in Mariposa.

The Mariposa County Senior Center has partnered with Merced College Adult Education, to provide a Mature Drivers Course on Monday, November 16, 2026, from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. at the Senior Center located at 5246 Spriggs Lane in Mariposa.

Many car insurance companies offer a discount in their monthly premiums upon proof of course completion. This course is designed primarily for drivers age 55 and older. Students receive classroom instruction on driving safety, road courtesy, improving driving performance, and safe driving techniques for emergencies.

Merced College Adult Education & Noncredit has a 1-day course for you.

This 8-hour class is open to individuals 55 years of age or older.
