Mariposa County Goes Green for Veterans 

October 28, 2026 – Mariposa County officials announce that from November 4 through November 11, the Mariposa County courthouse will shine green in support of Operation Green Light for Veterans, a nationwide initiative led by the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO).

By lighting our courthouse green, Mariposa County joins counties across the country in showing gratitude and support for our veterans while recognizing their service and sacrifice.

Community members are also encouraged to join us! Change your porch light or another outdoor light bulb to green from November 4–11 to show your support for our veterans and help spread the word about Operation Green Light.
