December 16, 2016 - The Flood Warning for the Merced River at Pohono Bridge in Yosemite National Park has been cancelled as the river crested below flood stage.

Yesterday Yosemite officials closed entrances into the Valley at 5:00 P.M. in preparation for the flooding.

This graph is from Friday morning at 3:00 A.M.and shows the river peaking at under 9.0 feet.


The following graph is what Yosemite National Park was preparing for as the projections had the river rising above flood stage.
