February 3, 2017 - Sacramento – Senator Andy Vidak (R-Hanford) has joined Central Valley colleague Congressman David G. Valadao in endorsing the bipartisan H.R. 496, the Bar Removal of Individuals who Dream and Grow our Economy (BRIDGE) Act, by Congressman Mike Coffman (R-CO), and issued the following statement:

In my opinion, it makes no sense to deport students and veterans brought to this country as children, through no fault of their own, who call the United States home. I wholeheartedly support protecting the young people who are eligible for the Department of Homeland Security’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
