On September 15, 2014, Mariposa Lodge #39, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, preformed and Initiatory Degree for Sonora Lodge #10.  The Initiatory team was made up of members from both Mariposa and Sonora Lodges.  Marshall Long presided over the degree work as Acting Noble Grand.  Mariposa Lodge #39 was established in 1855 and has been a part of the community since then.
