April 6, 2017 - CAL FIRE assisted the United States Forest Service (USFS) with an escaped control burn in the Jerseydale area on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was kept at approximately one acre and contained at 5:15 PM.
Despite the amount of rain received this year, vegetation is drying out quickly due to wind and sunshine.
Residents are encouraged to postpone burning on windy days and to maintain clearance around burn piles.
Please burn carefully.
