Sierra Foothill Charter School held its last Core Virtues assembly of the school year on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. This time staff and students focused on the virtue of wonder, an active curiosity that leads to searching for answers and success.
SFCS 1274Congratulations to these students who were recognized for sometimes thinking differently, always questioning, and bringing a sense of wonder into the classroom with them: Gabe Specht, Sophia Rudge, Autumn Blagg, Kai Yoshida, Kaia Ramirez, Payton Totten, Vera Smerber, Madison Michael, and (not pictured) Dylan DuBois.

Throughout the month, students who are seen going above and beyond are given tickets. They can either exchange the tickets immediately for an item in the treasure chest in the office or they can enter them in a drawing for a grand prize. This month's grand prize was a maze puzzle.
SFCS 1281Congratulations to Ronin Yoshida who won the maze.
