2014-Black-n-White-BallJohn C. Fremont Hospital Foundation’s 34th Annual Black and White Ball is almost here.  The Ball will be held the evening of Saturday, November 1, 2014, doors open at 5:30 p.m., at the Mariposa Fair Grounds, in the Sequoia Building.

With the theme “Champagne and Roses”, this fabulous fundraiser offers dinner, by B.B.’s Catering, dancing to the Tom Phillips Band, a photo booth to create unforgettable memories, and of course, a silent and live auction.  You can dress to the hilt, or not.  Just come on out to enjoy a fun evening and support a great cause.

The menu is your choice of:  Pork Osso Buco slowly braised accompanied with rosemary mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans with toasted garlic onions, or, Mediterranean Stuffed Chicken stuffed with parmesan, spinach, artichoke hearts, sundried tomato, basil & panko-grilled and brushed with a white wine garlic butter, accompanied with toasted rice pilaf & sautéed vegetable medley, or, Vegetarian Portabella Pasta with fresh spinach, angel hair pasta, tomato, basil, bells & zucchini with a garlic butter cream sauce.

There are some great silent and live auction items coming in and some special raffle prizes, one being a spectacular framed photograph titled ‘Autumn Sunrise’ of Half Dome and the Merced River, by Michael Frye, valued at $650.  View the photo and purchase tickets at Yosemite Bank or at the Ball.  Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.  You do not need to be present at the ball to win this photograph.  Part of the live auction involves contributing to the purchase of specific medical equipment that the hospital needs.

Only 200 tickets are available for this fun event, so get yours soon.  Tickets are $50 each and are available at Pioneer Pharmacy, 5034 Coakley Circle, and at the Hospital’s Admitting office (credit card purchases here).

October 29, 2014 is the last day to purchase tickets.
