April 19, 2021 - Merced – Merced Police Detectives are currently asking the publics help in locating Enrique Madera Fierros, 29 years old. Fierros has been identified as fleeing the scene of last nights homicide. Detectives need to speak with Fierros and we are asking for the publics help in locating him.

Earlier Information:

The Merced Police Department reports a 19-year-old pregnant female was the victim of a homicide in Merced Sunday night. A 20-year-old male was also wounded and was transported to a regional trauma center for life threatening injuries.

Officer responded to the 1400 block of Conestoga Dr. at 9:50 P.M. for a report of shots being fired. They located a 19-year-old pregnant female, and a 20-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers along with paramedics and Merced Fire personal provided emergency medical aid. Unfortunately, the female victim succumbed to her injuries.

Merced Police Detectives are currently investigating.
