May 16, 2018 - I plan to vote for Heather Bernikoff. As a cattlewoman whose family has been in this area for a long time, ag and a rural way of life are important to me. Heather has a proven record of working with us for ag. She is a hard worker and has been in the trenches with us to solve issues. As our Planning Commissioner, she was always very kind, returned calls and explained how the system works. She was always very ethical too. A relative was frustrated when asking about an issue but Heather explained that she could not say anything about voting because it was going in front of the Commission. She told them to submit comments to the Planning Department. That job is hard to do. I am glad she was willing to do it. She proved she could understand the information, think about the consequences of a yes or no decision and do her homework.

If Heather ran last time, I would have voted for her. I know who she is by her actions. There is no guess work. Besides working to protect ag, she is polite, thoughtful and has volunteered with us for over a decade even when she was not running for office. That tells me everything I need to know. Vote for Heather June 5 or on your mail in ballot. We will definitely get a lot for our money!
