Twelfth Night, one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, follows twins Viola and Sebastian (played by Krista Joy Serpa and James McIntyre), a shipwreck, confusion in gender identity, love and attraction, and the comedic antics of the singing fool Feste (played by Colton Dennis). The play features 15 actors from Merced, Atwater and Modesto, and is directed by Jim Bennett. After staging in Applegate Park, Merced, Shakespearefest will return to Mariposa for its second year.

The Mariposa Theatre Alliance (MTA) is an association of producing theatre artists formed to foster and promote theatre throughout Mariposa County.
