October 3, 2017 - Mariposa County Sheriff's Office reports on today's Ramblin Fire in Mariposa County:

Units responding to a fire in the Ramblin Rd / Woodview area of Mariposa County. Please avoid the area if possible. Lots of Emergency traffic is responding in the area.

12:40 P.M. - ALL forward progress has been stopped- Fire will be in mop up (clean up) stage, there is still heavy traffic in the area, please be alert when driving in the area. 

12:35 P.M. - 20-30 approx acres, forward progress on Ramblin Rd. side has been stopped.

12:15 P.M. - Deputies advising residents in the area of fire. NO evacuations ordered at this time.
