November 9, 2017 - Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement after the non-partisan Tax Policy Center released a report finding that nearly 38 million middle class households face a tax hike under the GOP tax scam:

“The Tax Policy Center’s non-partisan, double-checked analysis has produced a breathtaking assessment of the Republican tax scam.  According to this blockbuster analysis, nearly 38 million middle class households are facing a Republican tax hike.

“Republicans are trying to raise taxes on tens of millions of middle class families, while making it easier for corporations to ship American jobs overseas.  The destructive cruelty of the GOP bill toward middle class families is simply staggering.”
