Eat at Pizza Factory on Thursday, May 28th between the hours of 4-9 p.m. and Pizza Factory will donate a percentage of the night’s proceeds to the Mariposa County Arts Council and Mariposa County Department of Parks and Recreation’s Summer Art Camp program. This summer camp program provides low cost arts programming two days a week for over 50 local children through Parks and Recreations Summer Day Camp. Scheduled art camp programs this year include 9 weeks of music instruction with local music teacher and local band, Bootstrap Circus, lead singing Adam Burns; 5 weeks of ceramic instruction with Tiffany Newberry and Phyllis Becker; and a papermaking workshop with Jeannine Andre. “We are so grateful to the Pizza Factory for supporting quality summer art programming for so many kids in Mariposa,” said Mariposa County Arts Council’s Executive Directory, Cara Goger.
Please plan to eat at Pizza Factory on May 28th and give local art programming for youth a boost. In addition the Pizza Factory on May 28th, the Arts Council’s will be doing similar fundraisers at Savoury’s on Friday, June 19th and Steve’s Sportsman’s Café on Saturday, June 20th.
