May 28, 2015 - The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Don Pedro High School located at 3090 Merced Falls Rd,, in the Multipurpose Room.

MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE OF CHANGES EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2015.

Due to the drought emergency and declining amount of water available in Lake McClure, customers of the Lake Don Pedro Community Services District (CSD) are required to reduce their monthly water use by 50% from the amount of water used last year (2014).

The 50% reduction applies to all water used over your Water Budget allocation, as shown on the table. The table lets you to determine the maximum amount of water you are allowed to use each month this year, based on the number of persons in your household and water usage amounts from 2014.

On May 18, 2015 the CSD Board amended its previous water conservation measures to allow for limited outside irrigation and to include new water restrictions required by the State.

Effective June 1, 2015:
 No outside irrigation during and within 48 hours following measurable rainfall
 Limit outside irrigation of ornamental landscaping to two days per week

The CSD Board of Directors has temporarily modified our mandatory water conservation measures to allow for limited outside irrigation according to the schedule below:
 Watering must occur between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM
 Odd Addresses – Addresses ending in odd numbers water on Tuesdays and/or Saturdays
 Even Addresses – Addresses ending in even numbers water on Wednesdays and Sundays
 No Watering on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays
 Edible gardens and orchards used as a food supply and newly planted native and other drought-tolerant landscaping may be irrigated one additional day per week at the discretion of property owners.

All other water conservation requirements, water budget allocations, restrictions and penalties adopted by the CSD on March 9, 2015 remain in full force and effect.

A complete list of water restrictions and helpful tools are available at www.ldpcsd.org or available at the District office.

If the amount of water remaining in Lake McClure drops below 580 (feet above sea level), the CSD will once again prohibit ALL outside irrigation to maximize the water supply available for human consumption, sanitation and firefighting.

Customers who do not follow the restrictions will receive a letter describing the situation and describing what they can or must do to reduce water consumption.

Penalties only apply in cases where customers waste our precious remaining water supply by continuously disregarding these restrictions; and refuse to follow the assistance provided by the District.

This is for the health and safety of our community—Thank You for Using Water Wisely!!
