June 18, 2015 - An early afternoon fire has been reported on Triangle Road near Darrah Road.

CHP: be on the lookout for a dark colored suv - had a tire blow out and driving on its rim l/s on Triangle towards Highway 140 - poss cause of the fire

Update: 1:14 P.M.
CHP says the road closures needs to be moved to Butterfly Ridge and also another one is needed on Triangle near Butterfly Winery.

Update: 1:31 P.M. per Mariposa County Sheriff

Due to a vegetation fire evacuation orders have been issued for Memory Lane, Carter Road, Deer Creek Road.

Fire crews are on scene. Triangle Road is closed at Memory Lane and Nickel Plate Road.

The Red Cross shelter will be opening at the New Life Christian Church on Cole road.

Per Mariposa County Sheriff: Evacuation order has been downgraded to Advisements only for the below listed areas.
Memory Lane, Carter Road, Deer Creek Road.
Triangle Road is still closed at Memory Lane and Nickel Plate Road.

Updated Fire Information: All evacuations and advisements have been lifted. Fire units remain on scene

Roads leading into the fire area are still closed at this time. That includes: Triangle Rd between Silva and Nickle Plate Rd, Carter Rd, & Memory Lane.
